Volunteers are the lifeblood of Pet Save Sudbury. They are the people who keep the organization moving every single day — whether that means spending time at the shelter, helping at the thrift store, assisting at PetSmart, or driving animals and supplies from one location to another.
From sorting donations, cleaning animal areas, and walking dogs, to transporting pets and helping at events, every task matters. It all plays a role in giving these animals a safe place while they wait for their forever home.
One of the great things about volunteering with Pet Save is the flexibility. Volunteer hours can often be arranged to fit almost anyone’s schedule, making it possible for more people in the community to get involved.
And if you don’t have the time to care for a pet full-time, fostering is another huge way to help. Many animals need temporary homes, whether it’s for a few days, a few weeks, or longer. Fostering gives pets a chance to live in a caring environment while they wait to be adopted, and it makes a big difference in their lives.
